GrantsThe Julia Farr group is calling for grant applications from agencies, groups and individuals with an active interest in disability. The grants we currently administer include: Julia Farr Association1. General distributionGeneral distribution grants are small grants, considered monthly, to assist people living with disability (eligibility criteria apply) who are financially disadvantaged, to access items that will assist to improve the quality of their life.
2. Short Stay holiday distributionShort Stay holiday distribution grants are small grants, considered monthly, to assist people living with physical disability, acquired brain injury or degenerative neurological disorder wishing to access short stay holidays.
3. JFA Noske Christmas FundThe JFA Noske Christmas Fund has been developed to carry out the wishes of the late Mr Noske who generously set aside funds to enable people living with disability to celebrate Christmas. Applications for funding can take many forms and might be thought of as a personal gift, travel to see family/friends or a special item. Funding is limited to less than $200. Eligibility criteria apply. Applications close 1st February 2010
Julia Farr M.S. McLeod Benevolent Fund1. Project/initiative distributionRequests for grant funding are considered by the Julia Farr McLeod Trustees on a twice-a-year basis (with closing dates of 31 March and 30 September) from an annually allocated Disbursement Pool. Projects or initiatives must demonstrate benefit to adults living with physical disability (eligibility criteria apply, and include acquired brain injury, and degenerative neurological disorder). |
